Cultures and artistic mushroomry

Grown in glass.
Drawn from the gill.

Medina Mushrooms is a studio shop. Culinary cultures leave the same rooms as the prints, trays, and vessels.

01 — Cultures

Living lines for the kitchen, not the woods.

Liquid culture, grain spawn, and fruiting blocks. The room holds culinary lines only: pearl oyster, lion's mane, and chestnut. Nothing is wild-picked, and nothing here is psychoactive.

  • Jars, logs, and fruiting blocks
  • Expand onto grain or hardwood
  • Shipped alive, with care notes in the parcel
Glass jars of white mycelium and an unmarked liquid-culture syringe on warm stone.
Culture bench. Unlabeled glass, clean mycelium.

02 — Artistic mushroomry

The same benches, after the fruiting.

Gill studies, stoneware, and dried sculptural forms. Prints are open studio editions. Trays and vessels are individual pieces. They are objects, not cultures, and they do not fruit.

  • Charcoal gill studies on cotton paper
  • Stoneware stained with a real spore print
  • Dried bracket forms, finished as vessels
A stoneware oyster-cap vessel, a dried bracket fungus, and a charcoal gill study.
Gallery wall. Vessel, bracket, and a gill study.

03 — Shop

Six pieces from the current bench.

Prices are the studio catalog, in US dollars. Checkout opens in Stripe and collects a US or Canadian shipping address. The button stays quiet until the studio key is connected, and this page never charges a card itself.
